My softness was never a weakness.
It was a survival strategy.
And my strength was never in being chosen.
It was choosing myself when no one else did.

FOR MOST OF MY LIFE,
SURVIVAL WAS THE ONLY THING I KNEW HOW TO DO.
I grew up in trauma. I’ve lived through loss, betrayal, toxic relationships, emotional manipulation, and abandonment — not just in love, but in family, friendship, and systems that were supposed to protect. I’ve spent years studying trauma, working with families and communities, and walking with women through the wreckage — all while rebuilding myself piece by piece.

I’VE LIVED IN A WORLD THAT TELLS WOMEN WE ARE TOO MUCH.
Too emotional.
Too complicated.
Too needy. Too soft.
And in that world, many of us have learned to overgive — to shrink, to turn the other cheek, to stay silent in the face of abuse or manipulation.
We’ve been told that the only way out is to abandon our softness… To become the masculine savior we read about in books. To armor up.

But what if there’s a third way?
What if you could reclaim your truth without losing your tenderness?
What if healing didn’t require disappearing?
What if you could be both your own savior and still move through life with softness, compassion, and grace?
That’s why I created The Strawberry Sanctuary.
To give women a place to land, to rebuild, to feel again — without shame.
To offer poetry, practices, and tools that honor both the warrior and the woman.
To hold space for softness as a radical, sacred form of strength.
Before this sanctuary was born, I spent years working in trauma-informed care, psychology, and community leadership. I trained professionals in ACEs, neuroscience, and resilience — and led a mentor program focused on breaking generational cycles in youth and families.
I’ve lived this work. Now I hold it — for you.
You’re not too much. You’re not too broken. You are not alone. You are a strawberry heart — still soft, still standing, still sacred.
You’re not too much. You’re not too broken. You are not alone. You are a strawberry heart — still soft, still standing, still sacred.
This is for every woman who's been told she's too much, too broken, or too soft to survive.
You are a Strawberry Heart — and you're not alone anymore.
